Extending gas distribution networks in Spain over the
next three years (2015-18) including constructing
new pipelines to reach customers in remote and
rural areas. Many of these customers currently rely on
fuel oil and propane for heating and cooking. Replacing
these polluting fuels with cleaner and cheaper natural gas
will reduce energy costs and cut household and business
emissions by over 140 kilo tonnes of CO2 per year.
The EFSI support will allow Redexis to invest on a larger
scale, and it is expected to create 3000 jobs during the
construction phase and 60 new permanent jobs.
