The European Union Bank, the European Investment Bank (EIB) finances operations outside Europe in support of the EU’s development policies.

It is the only multilateral financing institution engaged in both Europe and the countries in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific (ACPs), and is the world’s largest public lender.
